“How do I become more confident?
What is #confidence?
Confidence is a thought process. It is repetition of your belief and what you feed your mind with.
Your mind is divided into 2 parts conscious and subconscious. The Conscious Mind is what is used while awake, it develops thoughts, makes decisions and performs daily functions. The Conscious Mind takes care of the visible, thoughts, emotions, behaviors and activities. Your true power lies deep in the Subconscious Mind which remains untapped. The Subconscious Mind is the gate keeper of storing all your memories, past feelings, emotions and thoughts. You are lead to believe that the Conscious Mind is more superior, but in reality this is not the case. Whatever memories you have formed inside your mind is stored in the Subconscious Mind and will re-surface whenever you notice a similar stimulus.
Being able to use the information that is locked into your #Subconscious Mind in the correct way, you would be able to remove all bad memories, strengthen your good feelings and thoughts to enhance your potential. If you allow your Subconscious Mind to be filled with negativity, fear and other limiting thoughts, then it will create lots of barriers ahead and work against you. A single thought can have a lasting effect. What you constantly think about will eventually become your reality. Your Subconscious Mind is like a treasure trove that has the power to influence your decisions and actions. If you guide your thoughts in the right direction then it will help you to achieve what you want.
Exercising control over your thoughts, will enable you to program it accordingly. If you think of your mind as being well fueled by energy and the thoughts you put in, you will have the confidence to do anything you have decided with no fear or doubts. This just shows you how powerful and indispensable your Subconscious Mind is. Many people miss out on the full potential of their subconscious mind due to the lack of knowledge and not knowing the extent of its power?
“Do not become your own enemy, be kind to yourself.” Now that you are aware of the unimaginable power that your Subconscious Mind has, you need to work on some techniques that will enable you to release this power. “I was always looking outside myself for strength and confidence but it come from within. It was there all the time.” - Anna Freud. When you learn to unleash the full abilities of the Subconscious Mind that’s when truly being powerful begins. It’s your authentic special power that will maximize your potential allowing you to do countless things that you thought you could not do.
3 Tips To Having A Confident Mindset:

Consistently working out and seeing your body change can definitely affect the attitude towards yourself for the better as well as the feel good factor which can also have a total different effect on your life. It can make you feel more confident from the inside out also having a huge impact on your mental health.
2. Appreciate Yourself:
Spend time on reflecting who you really are, appreciating that you are unique. Think about what you are really good at, accomplishments you have achieved it does not matter how big or small they may have seem. What is it that you really want to do? When you are in touch with your truly authentic self you will become more confident.
Your thought and words carry energy, shaping your life and what happens in it. Affirmations said repeatedly are a great way to train yourself into self-belief along with sending a clear message to the universe. #Affirm things like “I care about myself, I am intelligent and I am a great communicator. When your inner critic starts to speak counter act it with these self-affirmations.
People often said to me, “ You have so much confidence. Where did it come from?” It came from deep within me. I woke up one day and decided that I was a beautiful, confident, radiant woman who has so much to offer the world. It was time to do this things I have only thought about but never took action due to lack in self-confidence also having feelings of self-doubt, not wanting to come out of my comfort zone and felling unworthy.
I started to boost my self-confidence by first accepting where I was and implementing strategies from self-help books which I began to read “In The Meantime” By Iyanla Vanzant which gave me such inspiration and a sense of hope that I could change my life. Also, surrounding myself with like-minded people by joining my local gym and Meetups. I also sourced the services of a transformational mentor which helped me to create a plan of my future and what actions I would take. It was through reading the various self-help books that I decided I would one day become a published author. I wanted to leave a legacy for my 7 children and also something that world would remember that I was here.
In order for this to be a reality in 2016 I surrounded myself with published authors, found myself a book mentor who guided and support me on my journey of writing my book. In March 2017 I became a published author of Love Yourself & Be Yourself - How To Boost Self Confidence And Courage To Create The Life You Deserve which is available on Amazon.
