Turkish #cuisine is extremely delicious as it is very much influenced by Ottoman cuisine with blends of Central Asian, Middle Eastern, Eastern European, and Balkan cooking. When we think of Turkish food, dishes such as #doner kebab and #kofte come into our minds as that is what is displayed right at the entrance of many Turkish restaurants, especially in #barcelona. You cannot miss out on all that fragrance of spices and lamb running all over the streets!
You might be thinking where you can find Turkish food in Barcelona, so this is the place! It is called Zurna and it is located at the heart of Barrio Gracia. You can find the address and contact number below:
Travessera De Gracia, 155, 08012 Barcelona, Spain
+34 933 68 78 38
I chose to order what I always relish at Zurna which is Doner Kebab plate in chicken with french fries and a side salad rather than the pita bread. Not only are the chicken strips fresh and soft but also nicely marinated in Turkish herbs and spices, giving it a very pleasant taste in your mouth. There are also kids' meals so you can easily take your family along.
If you are a vegetarian you can opt for Vegetarian Koftes or salads and soups like the image below:
When it comes to the ambiance is very authentic as it has Turkish furnishings and interiors. What really caught my attention were the mirror mosaics in multi-colors with painted floral patterns that looked so amazing. The seating arrangement is quite comfortable and there is no hassle for movement as its all on one floor.
